Client
A clinician researcher at a leading tertiary hospital was balancing clinical load and research projects. Increasing demand on their clinical time meant that research data was incomplete and not written up. Publishing this crucial data was important for clinical research translation and future grant applications.
The Brief
The Researcher was under increasing clinical pressure and had several datasets which required cleaning and finalising ready for publication but did not have the necessary time to undertake these activities.
Our Approach
We worked with the client to determine their needs and to generate a data dictionary ready for data cleaning. Summary data analysis was undertaken with figures and table produced. Our in-depth knowledge of health research meant that we could assist our client by providing the literature supported introduction to this research report in addition to the data and images.
The client was then able to move from this report to a full manuscript submission at their chosen journal.
The Outcome
Our client was able to move their research from data collection to manuscript submission, allowing for them to focus on their clinical workload with the knowledge that an expert team was able to manage their data cleaning and prepare the summary documents.
