The Brief
Hormones Australia is an initiative of the Endocrine Society of Australia which aims to increase awareness and provide information about hormones and common hormone-related conditions. The Endocrine Society of Australia is the national authority for the treatment of endocrine related conditions and disease, and a specialist society of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
Hormones Australia was seeking support for a scientific writer to interview researchers, interpret research manuscripts and write scientifically accurate articles that can be enjoyed and understood by the Hormones Australia website visitors which will constitute a diverse audience
Our Approach
Topics or sources were provided by the Endocrine Society of Australia Council members. MOPS research services collected the content by direct interview with the researcher or from relevant research literature. Research manuscripts were reviewed, and the science presented for a general audience. Further literature was reviewed as need to support the understanding of the audience. Articles were drafted for approval and then published on the Hormones Australia web page.
